The Heart behind these pages
Life rarely slows down.
Between running a business with my husband, being a wife, mom, and grandma, building our little Montana homestead, and simply keeping up with everyday life, it’s easy to move from one thing to the next without ever stopping to take it all in.
Writing has become my way of slowing down.
It forces me to be intentional—to notice the beauty I might have missed, to wrestle with the things weighing on my heart, and to remember the countless ways God has shown Bitterroot Mercies, even when I couldn’t see it in the moment.
Some days these pages are filled with gratitude. Some days they’re filled with questions. Some days they’re simply a place to catch my breath.
I’ve learned that when I write, I don’t just remember what happened—I begin to understand what God was doing through it, fostering faith and reflection.
This journal isn’t about having profound answers or a perfectly put-together life. It’s about making space to reflect before life rushes past. It’s where I collect the ordinary moments, the difficult times, the laughter, the heartbreak, the Montana skies, and the quiet mercies that remind me God has been there all along.
